1955 Chevrolet Cameo
This is the 1955 Chevrolet Cameo, one of 2600 models made that year. As you may have observed, there are VERY few left in good condition. Most likely less than 100. The reason the Cameo is one of my all-time favorites is becasue it is truly one of the fanciest trucks made by Chevrolet in the 50s, and it has only one selection of two tone colors (the white and red). I also like this model becasue it has a long bed, hitched with a sexy bumper, and in the front, an amazing grill dotted with two fancy cross bars and tilted fenders with singular headlights. I also love the white wall tires with the red interior wheels. Not only that, but these trucks were also capable of taking on a heavy duty load.... these were very reliable trucks.. the half and three-quarter ton models were viewed hauling big loads in commercials and advertisements. The wrap around windshield and the egg-shell grille made the Cameo have a popular sexy cab design. the interior also included a red on white two tone paint scale.
Now you can see why the 55 Cameo is one of my all time favorites.
