The 1950 Suburban is one of the few suburbans made with van like seating. This suburban had four rows of bench seats and a passage on the left to get to them all. It was practically the first van ever made. The Chevrolet Commercial Express Passenger made today has the exact same seating design, just with a larger scale. Now to the exterior, the truck had a wicked crossbar grill that all Chevrolet trucks had at the time, but on the Suburban, the fenders were longer, and the hood popped on the first crossbar and not the second. The truck is very similar to the panel truck model, but the rear seating area had windows in the Suburban model. I love all Suburbans, but in particular, I like the early 50s models, and the 2015+ model.
